Impact Metrics for Promotion & Tenure In-Person / Online
Join UTA Libraries for a lunch-and-learn workshop that will help demystify the world of research impact metrics, with a focus on those commonly used in the tenure and promotion process. Participants will learn about metrics like citation counts, h-index, and journal impact factor and identify sources for compiling such metrics. The session will also cover alternative metrics and strategies for showcasing research impact beyond traditional measures.
